Day 1: Tangier ➝ Chefchaouen
Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival in Tangier, your driver will greet you and take you to explore the legendary Hercules Caves, a stunning spot where myth and ocean meet. Then, we head to the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Check into your riad and enjoy a relaxed evening in this picturesque town.
Day 2: Chefchaouen ➝ Fes via Volubilis
After breakfast, we set off towards Fes, stopping on the way to visit Volubilis, the ancient Roman city beautifully preserved and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk among the ruins and admire the mosaics before continuing to Fes, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 3: Discovering the Soul of Fes
Today, dive into the cultural heart of Morocco. With a local guide, explore the labyrinthine streets of the Fes Medina, one of the oldest in the world. Highlights include the Bou Inania Medersa, the Chouara Tannery, Bab Boujloud Gate, and a visit to a traditional pottery workshop. End your day with panoramic views over the city.
Day 4: Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Midelt ➝ Merzouga (Sahara)
Get ready for a scenic day! We head south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane (known as Morocco's Switzerland) and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you might spot Barbary monkeys. After lunch in Midelt, we drive through desert landscapes to reach Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. Mount your camel for a magical ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, then enjoy dinner and music under the stars in a Berber desert camp.
Day 5: Merzouga ➝ Todra Gorges ➝ Rose Valley ➝ Ouarzazate
Wake up to a stunning desert sunrise before heading towards Todra Gorges, where dramatic rock cliffs rise 300 meters above a lush valley. After a walk and lunch, we travel through the Valley of Roses, known for its fragrant blooms, and continue to Ouarzazate, where you’ll spend the night.
Day 6: Ouarzazate ➝ Aït Ben Haddou ➝ Marrakech
Explore the cinematic city of Ouarzazate, often called the "Hollywood of Africa," then visit the spectacular Ksar Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-protected village used in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch, we cross the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in the High Atlas, arriving in Marrakech by evening. Settle into your charming riad for the night.
Day 7: Marrakech Guided City Tour
Spend the day discovering the treasures of Marrakech with a local guide: visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the intricate Bahia Palace, the historic Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the serene Saadian Tombs. In the evening, immerse yourself in the electric atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square, full of storytellers, musicians, and delicious food stalls.
Day 8: Marrakech ➝ Casablanca
After breakfast, we head to Morocco’s economic capital, Casablanca. Visit the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, perched right over the Atlantic Ocean. Relax in your hotel and enjoy your final evening in Morocco.
Day 9: Departure from Casablanca
Depending on your flight time, we’ll arrange your transfer to Mohammed V International Airport (CMN) with plenty of time for check-in. Safe travels and see you again soon!
